Dwarf mage

This dude was inspired in my last role-playing character that is a dark dwarf mage that carries a staff with a magical head sticked on top. Some simple character practice.

Thing is, I think they can/or did wield magic...perhaps in a different form than what we see from topside mages, though. My main reasoning for this is that Genlocks [dwarf darkspawn] can be emissaries. Dwarf darkspawn can cast magic.

I believe it has more to do with the Taint than dwarven magic. Bioware's reason for dwarves not having magic is they can't dream and therefore have no connection to the Fade. The Taint restores their ability to dream (Dwarf Wardens), as it creates a link to the Archdemon and Warden nightmares.

It can be assumed then that genlocks are reconnected to the Fade as well, through the Taint. Genlock Emissaries are simply Dwarves that have strong magical sensitivities and the Fade magnified these into actual magical abilities, that is just my theory though.

I'm just going to leave this here, especially for those under the United States region confused as to why the Dagna description doesn't pop up.

Also, the United States region website is the only region not updated with the Dagna description, it's...amusing.
