she had never been one for an abundance of words, spending far too much of her life away from voices that would answer her. it was habit - she was accustomed to the silence and while it was different here, old habits were hard to break. people expected her to speak, listened to her words. for the most part. mina, though, was still minimal in what she had to say and now was no different. she had made her way through the halls, eyes scanning dingy cells until they landed on him. fingers snapped at the guard, a motion. an order. “Come,” the single word felt like too much of a repeated moment. “With me, then.”
