edward was used to going to parties. he was out every night practically infact. this wasn't all that big of a party though. a small gathering that a friend of his friend was having as to show off their new house. atleast , it was small in his eyes. there was maybe about thirty or fourty people tops. yet , one of them managed to catch his eye. he was trying to hold up a conversation , but was just failing at doing so. this other person was just distracting him. rubbing the corners of his lips and moving them in, he glanced over his shoulder yet again. still there , luckily. wouldn't be there forever though. he couldn't leave this place without atleast making a move. if he got shot down , well , he got shot down. as his friend dismissed himself to grab another beer , ed just nodded and watched as he left. waiting a moment , he cleared his throat and pushed his way through a few people. edward could only hope he got a chance. as he approached from behind , he licked his darkened lips before he reached a hand out to tap their shoulder lightly in an attempt to get their attention.
