He was in UA, that much he could discern right away. He remembered the first time he’d set foot on the campus, something about a visitation for the parents. Except he didn’t quite recognize the dorm building. He’ll, he didn’t even know how he got here.

Whatever the case, he would investigate. He made his way down the hall and to the stairs, a noise nearby catching his attention. Crap.

His body stiffened up, a hand hardening behind him as he turned partially to glance at the approaching other.

He looks away from the open book, focusing on Kirishima.

Alright, he wasn’t about to lie--Kirishima’s immediate instinct had been to take back the words he’d spoken. Pathetic, really, but the sheepishness had almost won over.

Which was weird, because he complimented friends all the damn time.

It shouldn't be different now, right?
