Are you lost, perhaps?” Question directed the youth that Akane deemed to be wandering aimlessly, the Inspector approached her slowly, so as to not startle the student in case she was the type to get nervous in the presence of authority. Admittedly, Akane didn’t think she looked that intimidating, so she wasn’t too worried about that kind of image (now if it were Ginoza or Kogami accompanying her, it would be a different and perhaps more unnerving experience).

“Whoa whoa! What?” She didn’t catch any of what the other girl had said to her. “Could you repeat that for me, please?”

The bitter liquid awakened her taste buds immediately, and Akane grimaced and rubbed her mouth slowly, wondering if they had run out of chai tea and this was the best option. However, in her peripheral, she noticed Kimiko sporting a barely concealed grin, displaying the purposeful intentions behind this swap. Restraining a laugh, Akane decided to play along, giving the younger girl the satisfaction of having pranked someone successfully.
“Ahh, I wonder what’s wrong with this tea? Maybe I need to do a check up on my taste buds soon.”

“No but for real Card Games on Motorcycles is totally the future of dueling.” He’d place money on that, given that he knew it to be true. Mostly because he needed the money. Even if it was from a bet he knew he’d win.
Was it a bit unfair to attempt to cash in on his sort of future knowledge? Maybe. But then again Judai didn’t really play ‘fair’ when it came to the universes rules.
So he figured everything would be fine.
It wasn’t even that major or a spoiler anyway!
