Just a casual reminder for the race that’s happening in about 2 hours

Unless you work for either McLaren or Red Bull or directly with Max, Lando or Oscar (or are friends with these men), this race has absolutely zero impact on your life.

Yeah okay if your driver doesn’t win, it’ll suck but don’t let it impact your day or your life. Be sad about it for a moment, then move on.

Yes, it’s easier said than done but we are here to watch 20 millionaires drive cars a few weekends in the year. That’s all it is at the end of the day.

My DMs are open if people need help getting back to reality (I’ve been a hardcore sports fan for long enough that I’ve been there and I know how hard coming back down gets) but yeah, this race will have no major consequences on your life, so don’t let it.

Yousens. I have a problem. Once I get inspired, I have no self control. Anne with an e after years has gotten me to that level.

What's the problem? You may be asking Inspiration and creativity is a good thing!

Yeah it's a good thing. When you have enough self control to stop after a while. Which I don't.

I made 54 anne with an e posters for us to use in promotion and such within the span of a couple of hours .

That's all. It's a problem but then at the same time it's so fun that I don't want to stop having it.

Side note: Do yousens want me to post them here too? I made a thread on Twitter but I know not everyone has it. I never did either until I specifically made an account for awae.

Hey all.

Probably not the news you wanted to hear from me but I’m extending my hiatus until at least the start of the new year.

Things at work have both gotten better (as far as I am concerned my job is secured) and worse (there’s som legal stuff that is being drawn out and it’s causing me an immense amount of stress). Because of the stress I haven’t been eating or sleeping well and my physical and mental wellbeing is not being prioritised.

Unfortunately for those of you who are eagerly awaiting more from me over on AO3, my physical and mental health have to come first, and because of that I have been unable to write for the past few weeks (save for a couple words here or there).

I’m heartbroken for all of us, since I had fun things planned for the rest of the year (getting close to finishing a crown of thorns, a heart of gold, writing Max’s list as a continuation of crossing off lists, and some fun little side projects including a horror/thriller for October because who doesn’t love Halloween) but I just can’t writing knowing that I’m not in a good place.

I’m really sorry to everyone. I promise I’ll be back once I’m okay.

norstappen was the ship that got me into this fandom in 2020 (I'm more of a maxierre girlie now and living on crumbs but that's the life I chose) so today has kinda upset me with how negatively Lando reacted to a little bit of hard racing compared to how mature and how calmly Max reacted during interviews.

Lando has been a bad friend to Max lately, and as a bitch with not a lot of friends and a lot of bad friends in my past, if that friendship doesn't last, then so be it. Max will be better without it. That's how it was for me, and as a fellow human, I'm sure the experience will be the same for Max. (I am in no way anything like Max but when a friend is being a bad one, they're better out of your life). And if they remain friends, then so be it.

imo Lando has had smoked blown up his ass with everyone touting that he's better than Max, but there is no one on the current grid that can outdo Max rn, and Lando just needs to take a step back and reevaluate his attitude.

I love the cuntiness, I love the bitchiness and I love the attitudes from the drivers as of late, so let them fight.

I am absolutely going to write a Drops of God AU and I’m absolutely going to make it a slow burn but holy shit this show is so good.

I’m obviously going to change some things but the base idea is perfect
