                       There is a slight smirk tugging at his lips as he looks at Nancy, “So, a little birdy,” Mike and Dustin, “told me, that you my dear, once played our famed and beloved game of Dungeons and Dragons,” Eddie is a little amused at the thought of her ever playing the game, but he wants to hear it from her mouth, not that of her brother and his friend.

Sighing Eddie puts his head in his hands, before running his hands through his hair. The idea of anyone taking on his burdens has never been a good thought - he doesn't like it, feels as if he is annoying them or they would hate him in the future, so he tries to always take it all on his own. "You don't need to worry about me, okay. I've made it this far..." Barley. Honestly surprised he's made it this far in life with half the shit he does in his life. - but that isn't for today. "Not like I'm going to go far in life anyway," He says it so nonchalantly, as if his dream isn't to be playing along side his favourite bands - but, Eddie's not stupid - he, knows coming from where he's come from it's going to be a hell of a battle to even get their in the first place unless you're very lucky, of which Eddie never really had been in his life. "You probably have better things that you could be worrying about compared to dear old little me."

"Is there such a thing as a brilliant idiot?" Eddie muses with a teasing tone to his voice. Because he knows one can be two things at once, Eddie is smart yet, he couldn't pass high school until the third go around. "But we love idiots around here, they make the world go by in a much more entertaining way."

"Now, I'm trusting you not to judge me for this," Oh that's a lie - he knows she would, but hey who is he, if he's not being a bit melodramatic? Eddie probably would be the same if their places were reversed, "Especially because of all the shit I like to say. But, I have gone and done the thing I said I wouldn't, and would never do in my life."

Waking up alone was a little startling - and there was a small strike of fear that found it's way through Eddie's body before his sleep addled brain could hear the faint movement coming from the kitchen. Dragging his feet across the ground, a soft smile finds it's way upon his lips when he notices Steve in the kitchen - moving to wrap his arms around Steve's waist, putting his chin in the crook of Steve's neck, "Mornin' making breakfast?" Eddie muses pressing a soft kiss to his jaw.

"You know," Eddie muses, a smile spreading wide across his lips as he looks at Steve. He leans himself closer, "that look your parents get, when they see me? Fucking priceless. And I'm not even sure which part of me causes it. But, I fucking love it,"

See now, the thing was Eddie never thought he would be that guy. The kind to actually go after someone who wasn't really out there to go for ; but, how could he not? Who was he to deny himself the pleasure of going after someone so sought out ; someone like Steve fucking Harrington? So, call him a weak man ( or should that be Steve ) for risking this thought in the first place - yet, here they are. And, honestly - Eddie is living for the thrill it gives. "Hey Stevie," Eddie says, there was a slight smirk hidden in the corner of his lips, "What are your plans tonight? Hot date with Nance?"
