Emersyn didn't entirely realize who had been speaking to her at first, her eyes almost being blank before she finally turned to make eye contact with the other woman. Her smile showed how happy she was to finally escape the pointless conversation, soon nodding her head. "I would love to, it has been so long since I had seen you.." She paused and turned to the capitalists she spoke to, bowing her head respectfully. "I will have to excuse myself, I apologize, I hope you find joy and excitement while you party." She then turned and gave Cecila a thankful expression as they both left the conversation and moved away from the cold. "Thank you, I didn't have the heart to tell them to let me leave.. but I couldn't stand listening to ideas for training or outfits for my tributes." She hated how young her tributes were, especially little Phoebe, but she knew to keep them protected while she could. Even if it meant listening to the most boring and annoying conversations till she was able to escape them.

Emersyn felt the relief flood to her expression as she saw Cashmere enter the conversation, almost letting her smile show the needs of her thankfulness. Her shoulders relaxed and simply moved towards the other side of the woman in shining cloth. "Yes, you read it correctly, thank you." She spoke, soon feeling the warmth against her skin taking over. She never did like being around the concept of ice sculptures alongside the cold in general. The cold gave the girl too much remembrance of what she was forced to do as a teenager and the forever effects of such things. But, not everyone knew of her struggles nor did she wish to ever speak of it if she didn't need to. She always found herself being in awe of those who still found the means to be more confident and helpful, as she saw with Cashmere. The woman was strong in her games, and she was definitely someone she found comfort in seeing along with learning about prior and after the games she was in. "How do you have such sanity to deal with so many personalities? I barely can handle the ones who are in my district."

Emersyn naturally was trying to avoid conversations with sponsors and capitalists as much as she could. She rarely found comfort in the ideas of parties or seeing the laughter of those finding joy in the death of the innocent souls. However, she always wanted to attempt to keep her eyes and ears open for the other victors. Yes, she was one to only share a few words with them, but even then she made sure to keep her eyes peeled. And it proved to be a good move when her eyes saw the look Johanna had been giving her. She carefully stepped close, bowing her head and letting out the softest of giggles. "Hello darlings, I hope to not be a bother in this moment but Johanna.." She paused, giving a confirming grin to make sure she knew she saw her need to escape the dreaded talking. "I wanted to speak to you about potential training for our tributes in a place in a little more silence.. as much as I would love such lovely people to hear." She carefully grabbed Johanna's wrist and pulled her out the conversation, continuing to walk till they were in a more open corner of the room. "I assumed that is what was requested of me? I hate standing there and chatting as well."

Emersyn felt her lips go thin at the idea drinking, maybe if things got too hasty she would indulge. She rarely wished to deal with the substance due to horrid memories of her first years as a victor, but nonetheless it was a option. She was amused at how many sponsors and other capitol people felt the need to stick their noses so close to them. Almost acting as if all the victors and tributes were shiny new toys that needed to be seen before they became ruined in their own image. She did however feel the sadness take over at the mention of her tributes. She wanted to take them both and run away from the chaos. Phoebe felt like a young sister to her since the second her eyes graced towards the pigtails and her shy attitude. She found it hard to try and connect to Boreas, but she couldn't blame the boy for such attitude changes. The games made the worst or the saddest areas of a human's soul escape even if it wasn't meant to happen. She let out a shaky breath as she grabbed a napkin, purely just incase. "If I was allowed to take her place, I would without any hesitation.." She spoke with seriousness, soon shaking her head. "Children her age should be worrying about what color shoes go with their favorite dress, not over the need to learn which weapon will kill a person the fastest to survive." She shook her head and dabbed her napkin at her tear ducts. She wasn't crying today, not with so many around.

they won the 61st hunger games at just sixteen years old, i remember it being quite the event. i did see on their latest magazine article that they’re reliable, patient, and rather sarcastic, and that they are mentoring this year. honestly, they remind me of the sight of a warm sunray on a cloudy day, the bright smile needed to give comfort, and a force to be reckoned with even if they seem kind. what the public doesn’t know is that they’re not a part of plutarch heavensbee’s rebellion, but such things can’t be said out loud.
