deep amethyst eyes gazed back into yours questioningly, thin lavender brows raised in question at your uncalled for staring. a slight burn traveled its way down his neck to dust his bare shoulders in a subtle pink, the morning light coming in from the window bathing him in its golden glory, and if your breath wasn’t stolen away before, it is now.
shinsou wasn’t necessarily deemed handsome by today’s society. a mop of unruly lavender hair atop his head, the dark bags under his eyes that were a permanent fixture upon his face, and the wry smirk that always rested on his slightly chapped, thin lips.
sure, there were some girls from his days in u.a that confessed to him every now and then, his sudden newfound fame enticing them after he fought his way into the top hero course. yes, they had called him smart, and intelligent. hell, even a cute would make its way through sometimes. but handsome? never.
no, he was never called handsome, let alone gorgeous.
but you begged to differ. a part of you wanted to go back to your high school years and forcibly rub those girls eyes with a cloth to make sure they were seeing correctly, but now that you think about it, you’re glad they couldn’t see shinsou for what he truly was; you get to have him all to yourself.
because right now in this moment, shinsou hitoshi is the most gorgeous being you’ve ever had the honor to lay your gaze upon.
expressive amethyst eyes shined at you through sleepy lids, long thin eyelashes brushing his delicate cheeks everytime he blinked.
smooth, alabaster skin stretched for what seemed to be miles down his body, battle earned scars and bruises from a hard days work on patrol decorating his flesh like morbid flowers, and you consider yourself lucky to kiss every single one when he came home from work.
a strong jaw led to an elegant neck that led to even stronger shoulders, corded muscles rippling under his creamy skin with a power and elegance only a hero could possess. a small smattering of wispy lavender hairs dusted a firm chest, warm and sturdy underneath your wandering fingers, and a small chill of delight ran down your spine when you could feel his heartbeat, steady and strong and alive.
wordlessly, you trailed warm fingers from his chest to his shoulder, lightly tracing down his arms and muscles, biting back a smile at the small shiver shinsou released at your touch.
reaching his hand, bigger than yours and calloused from fighting villains; from keeping the public and you safe, a softness settled in your gaze when you intertwined your fingers together gently, palms meeting and giving a small squeeze which he gladly returned.
breaking your gaze from your connected hands, you lazily trailed it up his body, drinking in his glowing visage before settling on his eyes once more.
this time you didn’t hide the gentle smile on your lips when you saw his slightly flustered expression, pale cheeks pink and heart thundering against his rib cage because no one has ever gazed at him in such reverence in his life; except for you.
without breaking eye contact, you slowly began lifting your combined hands until the back of his hand hovered right in front of your lips. a small choked sound escaped him as you pressed a chaste kiss to his warm flesh, and shinsou felt your lips curl into a smile against his skin.
a warm shiver raced down his spine when your lips parted, warm breath fanning against his skin, and he didn’t miss the twinkle in your love-filled eyes, words full of warmth that filled the entire room,
“gorgeous.”
