Queen Anne, Queen of England, Scotland and Ireland, 1702 - 1707 and Queen of Great Britain and Ireland, 1707 - 1714.

In 1708 Anne's papist half-brother attempted to land in Scotland with French assistance in an attempt to establish himself as king. Anne withheld royal assent from the 'Scottish Militia Bill 1708' in case the militia raised in Scotland was disloyal and sided with the Jacobites. She was the last British sovereign to veto a parliamentary bill, although her action was barely commented upon at the time.

Since then all our monarchs have been nothing more than rubber-stamp monarchs, supporting every government by signing every bill put in front of them. So whilst you're celebrating the latest jubilee, because the media told you to do so, remember that Elizabeth 2 has supported every bill that took away your freedoms, destroyed businesses, empowered heathens and perverts and cost the lives of sons and daughters in wars started because of lies and corruption.

Remember, a monarch CAN veto a parliamentary bill. Any monarch that refuses is as bad as the government of the day.
