Kurt knew that he took a much faster route straight to the school, so he wasn’t surprised when he beat Jean by as much as he did. He was still glad to see her in the hallways when she arrived.
“Jean!” Kurt gave her a warm hug and offered to help her with anything she had to carry. “I think everyone is free and back here. You know what that means!?” he asked, hoping she’d remember the party they’d discussed close to when he first arrived in the stone.
“I drew up several plans and I think we will have to ask Ororo to help us if we want to have any of this be an outdoor event, but I think it will be a lot of fun,” he told her excitedly. He’d started writing things last night and in his haste and enthusiasm ended up rewriting his notes in English so that Jean could actually read them.
“When would you like to start? Oh, wait, I’m sorry. You’ve just returned. How was your trip? Where did you go after we returned?” Kurt wondered.
