Louis took a quick peak into the Great Hall where he could hear loud conversations going on amongst his peers. He could feel his chest pounding for what seemed like a thousand beats per second and every piece of his body told him to turn around and go back to his dorms. The only thing that stopped him was the loud growling of his stomach. He couldn't go to class hungry as hell, that would be so bad and distracting to his classmates.
He stood there for another five minutes, trying to calm his breathing and ignore the stares he was receiving from people who were going in and out of the Great Hall. "I'm -- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bother you." He said shyly to a group of Slytherins. He pushed up the middle part of his glasses and let out a deep breath and walked into the Great Hall.
His steps unevenly and his feet slightly turned in as he walked, making his whole person look uncomfortable and scared. He shook his head and chewed on the inside of his cheek. He stopped at an empty spot in the Great Hall and set his books down and kept his eyes on the table in front of him. He sat down and reached for a chicken wing when his hand accidentally grazed against another. "Oh dear Merlin -- I'm sorry. I -- you can take that wing." He smiled awkwardly.
