About the EA app issue...
I don’t know if you’re still having issues playing your game, but after having multiple problems consistently being able to myself, I learned a way to kind of force a temporary fix on it to be able to play. Maybe this might help out someone else?
So, if you go to your PC, Program Files, Electronic Arts, Electronic Arts Desktop and then scroll down to EA updater exe and double click on it, it will force the app to update itself. Once it’s done, usually the issue where it acts like you don’t own anything in your game library, or the 500 error or the unable to play game issues should be solved. At least, it does for me and I’ve had to do it twice, now.
Feel free to tag me/reblog this post to see if it works for you, too, so that others having this problem can have a temporary fix for this until EA gets their shit together with this broken app. Hopefully, it will help a lot of players.
