started revisiting early mastery ranks in Warframe and it feels different when you slow down
not trying to rush anything, just letting the movement and combat settle in
there’s a kind of quiet rhythm in the first few ranks that gets lost later on

"I ain't your ma laddie!"
I finally bought a drawing tablet. Which means I can contribute something to the community! So here's to Bozhena, one of my favorite characters from the early game.
Early Game grind spots for Oblivion
Conditions: Each spot must have no: Bandits Conjurers Necromancers Ogres Goblins Trolls
Location must not be a quest trigger area Examples: Reedstand Cave, Mingo Cave, Haynote Cave; GreenMead Cave
I remember when I installed the Marry Morris mod for the first time and when I went to his house to give him a diamond, it bugged and he just stayed in bed for like days (he's not even asleep he's just staring at the wall)
Is he okay
DIAMOND OF UNBEARABLE DEPRESSION AND DESPAIR
Spite Week Day 6: DREAMS
I can't believe it's day 6 already! Today's prompt is Touch/Taste. Enjoy!
Spirit scarred
Too afraid
Won't admit
He wants
He CRAVES
To touch
To taste
To KNEEL
and be
Unmade
Tries to hide
But little shade
Knows the truth
The BITTER
sweet taste
of desire
Indulged
Only in
DREAMS
Thanks to everyone's encouragement for Spite Poetry, I really appreciate it! And, natch, big thanks to @dread-red-queen for hosting Spite Week 2025!
last post of the night
this is for a Very Specific Audience but:
i'm early game f2p in genshin impact (and i do mean EARLY. i just started the Liyue Archon) and rn i have a hyperbloom team of dendro traveller (i unlocked one (1) bit of sumeru for the specific purpose of getting her), kaeya, barbara, and lisa.
i have: c1 chongyun (poor me ik), rosaria, amber, iansan on standby. only amber is built. noelle is hanging out in a corner somewhere
kaeya is at level 23, lisa and traveller at 40, barbara at 30 something, noelle at 20 something, amber at 39, and rosaria at 10. iansan and chongyun are 100% unbuilt (everyone else has artifacts [good ones? no] except them).
my main team's weapons are pretty much all unascended and unrefined (except for barbara) at level 20. the rest of their weapons are at level 1.
all talents are at level 1.
any advice??? who should i focus on building?? i hate artifact farming, are they necessary?? i'm SUFFERING in the bloomflower trials--any good advice for those?
AC Shadows feels racist because they didn’t make the Templar nights do a Sign of the Cross mini game every time you upgraded a skill. They didn’t force you to genuflect every time you crossed in front of a tabernacle in a Templar cathedral.
It’s hard tk tell if they’re making a concerted effort to streamline/clean up the Isu lore, or if they’re just using Ancient Chinese Secret tropes to justify meta game
I’m still early game, so I can judge more once I see how far they lean into the mythology (controversially my favorite part of AC universe—I was so bummed at the lack of folklore & magic in Mirage and accidentally 100%’d the game trying to find the quests I missed).
I’m not really that interested or invested in the Animus/contemporary world sci-fi technology side of the story, but they might be redirecting all the “weird” stuff into glitches instead of deities.
