Let’s take a look at the early Wilderness build in LN2
Reminder that the Wilderness level was initially planned to be a late level not the beginning level
First you get a nice first look at the cabin: there are stuffed moose/deer laid out in the front yard and the cabin also has a fence.
When you wonder up to the cabin you run into a locked door (one of the locks is for the standard model the other one is there to be played when you insert the key) you have to wonder farther back and from there you enter the cabin via window
Everything from there is the same like the final game however the basement that holds Six is very different
Here she’s hung up just like how she was in the School Level, Mono is supposed too pull on the sting and from there Six is freed!
Also the model of Mono sitting on the chair is the original starting point of this chapter Mono and Six both get trapped in the cabin and that’s why Mono has a hidden “Escape Chair” animation: it’s for this part
Next room over is the family dinner FOR SOME REASON the lights there is very dark so all I can show is this grainy photo of the Mom and Son, no grandpa but also this area is probably where they would playtheir hidden animations.
You also get a glimpse at the old attic lever, where you get to see the old model for the grandma
In a attic full of cotton and she’s watching TV: the key to the lock outside sits on her lap and not clutched in her hands.
That’s mostly it in the attic really
When you climb back out the window and go to the very first door I showed you you’ll enter a room and there you meet your encounter with The Hunter!
That’s everything in the Early Build for the Wilderness but just a reminder!!!!!
The Wilderness Level was always planned to be played right after the Hospital Level
In the end they changed it of course to be the first level in the final but that is all
Any questions, Little ones?
