Today on the way home.
Finally cleared out a bit... The leaves really need full sun to get the color to really pop. I did see some decent color today, this weekend I will head toward the shore to catch some more...
Today has been awesome and weird.
Not only because of what I mentioned earlier. But today some kid asked me if I was "Student Government President" at QVCC. I told him yeah. He said cool and how he was there at the time. NEVER has anyone recognized me for THAT. That threw me off guard.
Going back to the girl from earlier, unless I run into her again, the only way to get to her will be through Eastern CT Crushes (where you anonymously submit cute stuff about someone) which I have already done.
PLUS my Tina shirt led to me discussing Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, and other great cartoons with a chick in my theater class.
In summary, I owe a lot to Tina Belcher.
Wondering
If any girls would join a sorority on campus if I started a Phi Sigma Sigma chapter at Eastern?
How about Maine or Eastern CT?
Here’s a few Maine stories, and I can go further with this if you have a specific area you’d like me to look up. And yay CT! Here’s what I found for eastern Connecticut.
Norwich State Psychiatric Hospital, Norwich - People have walked through this abandoned place and heard a woman sobbing. One building’s third floor, which was the area of many lobotomies years ago, you can hear beeping sounds, and all over campus yelling can be heard. Guards patrol the area though and WILL call the police.
Plainfield High School, Plainfield - A debated story, but still. A student who had much potential was said to be murdered and haunts the building. The word “intrinsic” was often used in his poetry, and now it’s been written on many objects in the building including doors.
Putnam Housing, Putnam - Many sightings of ectoplasm and orbs in pictures. Objects may be thrown and a black shadow seen.
Blood Cemetery, Woodstock - Does exist but hard to find, in the woods after a short hike, dodging barbed wire, and avoiding backyards. An eerie feeling pervades the area.
Gallows Lane, Quaker Hill, New London - The legend goes that witches were burned here (though one would think they were hanged on the “gallows”!). You get an ominous feeling here at any time of day, voices call out at times. Many people in the area won’t walk down the road alone, especially at night. [Shadowlands]
Awesome! Lots of creepy stuff here.
Coming up with the playlist for my radio show tomorrow.
Any suggestions?
