Full honestly @easyluckyfree45, I do not have a very high opinion of myself wherein essentially every single set is one that turned out better than I was expecting, so there’s that. haha.
BUT I think, overall, it’s got to be the first gif set where I ever went full out with over the top coloring, adding/creating textures, and frame by frame brush work which happened to be the Sailor Moon gif set I made for @theheavycrown‘s bday. With every gif set, I try to push myself a little bit more, but I went full “fuck it. Let’s learn 12 new things!” for that one. WHOOPS. There are thingsI would change about it now, but I think that’s normal for anyone learning & (in theory) improving.
That technically fulfills the “set where you tried something new,” but that’s no fun! The first set that came to mind is this set I made for @ms-maj‘s bday actually. I freely admit that textography is NOT my strong suit, & this was the first set I made that needed innovative/pretty text on every single gif. I should not admit how long I fought with myself about this text, because it was DAYS. haha.
TLDR I try the most nonsense things outside of my current skill set for my friends, case in point the HP headers (literally learned how to do so much stuff for these. It’s great!), because that’s the most fun time to do it!
