Ingredients: 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. A pinch of salt. 1 cup chopped nuts optional.
Instructions: Line an 8x8 inch 20x20 cm square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted usually takes 2-3 intervals. Be careful not to overheat. Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined. If desired, fold in the chopped nuts. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm and set. Once set, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge out of the pan. Place it on a cutting board and cut into squares or desired shapes. Serve and enjoy your delicious and easy homemade fudge!
