Avid leaves his home, reeking of fresh garlic soap from his morning ‘thinking bath’. He needed to go talk to Cleo. He needed answers.
He trudged his way through the muddied pathways of Oakhurst and made it to Cleo’s house. “Cleo? Anyone home?” He yelled through the wall as he knocked on the door. Avid was somewhat apprehensive about waltzing right up, especially since his reputation with the others tanked lower by the day, but Cleo seemed reasonable. He just needed to keep his head on straight.

⌛️ The woman was home, she was in the process of journaling when she heard someone approaching- even before Avid knocked and called out… she had been familiarized with the sound of each person’s footsteps. Avid’s were quick, sometimes cautious and sometimes clumsy. But undeniably his. Setting her quill down, she let out a soft sigh before moving to get up. Oscar, looked up from his corner of the room; watching, staring as Cleo moved to the door. She paused as she caught a whiff of the garlic from the other through the door but steeled herself as she opened the door. “Ah… Avid. What brings you here?”
