Teens at Delmont Gardens working with Keva Contraptions FTW!
Interested in becoming a professional writer? New South will be hosting a free 6-week writing workshop for young writers in grades 9-12 at the East Baton Rouge Main Library.
The classes will be held at 5:30PM Thursday, Oct 1, 2015 – Thursday, Nov 5, 2015.
Published writers and filmmakers will be there to mentor you, and there's even a chance to get your work published! Interested students can sign up for workshops by contacting New South Story Lab via email: [email protected].

Saturday, September 26th is the Baton Rouge Mini Maker Faire, and it's being held at the Main Library! There will be tons to do all day all over the library.

-Arduino Club from 2-3
-Makey makeys, LEGO Mindstorms, and cube crafts all day
-Mad Scientist Labs in each study room
