Seven facts about my childhood.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is the first movie I remember seeing, after I read the book and loved every second.

I never really had any friends up until Year Seven. This did not trouble me.

My grandmother got me obsessed with Joseph and Cats when I was about four.

My favourite film when I was a kid was Lilo and Stitch.

I used to be obsessed with history, but my favourite thing to learn about was Ancient Egypt.

The first video game I remember playing was a Rugrats game for the PS2. It was great.

I used to love Tracy Beaker, it was like my favourite show as a kid.

Four facts about my parents.

Dad’s a vicar in the Church of England, Mum’s a primary school teacher.

Mum is a massive nerd, she watches and fangirls over many things, including Supernatural and Firefly. 

Dad’s the token non-geek in the family. He is pretentious and criticises films though, so we can still have geeky arguments with him.

I am a third-generation geek - Mum’s a fan of Star Wars/Supernatural/many other things, and her dad is a Trekkie.

page 90 line 6 please?

I would just like you to know that I grabbed the nearest possible book and that book was this:

It's a Doctor Who New Adventures book called 'Mad Dogs and Englishmen'. Yes, that is a pink poodle with hands on the cover. It's a freaking weird book.

That said, line six of page 90 is:

'Now Enid glanced at the dog who, realising this, tried to look as doglike and docile as possible.'

I don't know if this is an interesting fact, but at least a pretty random one: I once accidently sat on a bee hive while playing hide and seek. The bees were not amused.

Ouch! My fact isn't all that interesting either, but here goes: I remember, one summer, it got so hot here that our house was literally taken over by flying ants. Because of the little buggers, we couldn't come in the bloody house, so we had to eat outside in the garden on a picnic blanket while Dad killed them with bug spray. Not a fun day.

Yeah! They had them when I was a kid, but they were rubbish, they were just normal jelly beans with one vaguely bad tasting one. Then Wizarding World opened, and they started making proper ones. I got mine from the set tour, although I think you could find them on the internet if you looked? And if you do try them? Trust me, take caution! Although, having said that, taking one at random, showing it to your friends/family/whoever so they know what flavour it is then eating it blind is a fun game to play. :D
