Foolish
You're just words on a page, phrases and sentences. written to make me pine. You started just as a figment of imagination and here you are so fine.
I've cried when you've fallen, I'm sad when you're sad. You deserve the world but people think you're bad. Vile and unscrupulous, just a piece of trash, but I hope you know I'd die for you, though it may seem rash.
I know you love someone, in the deep depths of your heart, and though it isn't enough for her, but at least it's a start.
So go my darling, tell her you love her, don't stand there waiting to see her taken by another.
And though it isn't me you love, I know, I understand.
It's foolish to fall in love with a fictional man.
