Forgotten Island - upcoming dreamworks movie about two childhood friends stranded on a magical island together and the longer they're there the more they forget their lives and each other. interesting premise and the character design and stylized animation look really cool! looks like it'll be good!
Werwulf - a medieval werewolf movie set to come out in December. it's directed by Robert Eggers and I really like The Witch and The Lighthouse, and of course I love werewolves, so I'm really looking forward to it! don't do me wrong Mr Eggers I NEEEEED a good werewolf movie.... I liked Leigh Whannel's Wolf Man last year just fine but it was pretty mediocre I need something GOOD
Teenage Sex & Death at Camp Miasma - upcoming Jane Schoenbrun movie!! it's about a slasher franchise being handed over to a young new director, and the dynamic between her and the franchise's original star. sounds very promising and I love Schoenbrun's work
these ones are currently out, I also wanna see Is God Is and I Love Boosters! but neither of them are showing anywhere near me :/ why is Project Hail Mary still getting multiple showings a day at my go-to theater but these ones get nothing!!! I'm mad about it I wanna see them in theaters.
Favorite Halloween movie right now? 👀
ooooh I think the Fear Street trilogy! I rewatched all three this past week while working on my Halloween costume and I really love em, they're so fun and charming and they tick multiple boxes for Stuff I Like. the second one especially is my favorite, but they're definitely most effective as a whole. the overarching story is so so satisfying on rewatch. love em <3

2. What movie have you watched most recently? What did you think of it?
I like talking about movies so I will give another answer for this :]
I watched Spirited with my mom last week and I did not like it very much 😔 thought it was a tonal mess of a movie that could not find a good balance between irreverence and earnest whimsy. the constant snapping back and forth between the two gave me whiplash. there was a solid idea in there but it was just poorly developed, this did not feel like a movie that understood what it was trying to do. so many baffling choices.
also it's a bad musical. I think if a musical is gonna be ironic and self aware there's gotta be intent behind it, otherwise it comes off as obnoxious and pointless. with Spirited they literally say during the first musical number "oh the afterlife is a musical haha" and then the living characters ALSO have musical numbers, but only the ghosts can hear them? it's so needlessly confusing to me, like just BE a straightforward musical! AUGH!

13. what's something you learned recently?
I learned how to use an iron-on design kit fairly recently, which is fun, now I can make my own shirt designs anytime I want

oh Maxy boy... my beloved Max I love him he's good I think it's very fun when guys die and are creature about it
I think corpse boy sparkles and perhaps I only think this because I know he is sparkly in person because we saw it but I think it's fun if he just. trails glitter everywhere he goes. ghost glitter. he hates it he didn't ask for this it's just everywhere now.
I also think corpse boy can float, he deserves to. put him on wires he levitates he's Ghost. Grace drags him around by the collar of his letterman jacket and he's just floating after her. he's whipped
