L O N G P O S T A L E R T... It’s been a long time between posts here. I couldn’t quite put my finger on what I was feeling or how to articulate it. Until yesterday (skip to the 〰 for that if you don’t care for my gibberish). But mainly there’s this feeling of overwhelm, a paralysation of all the things. It stopped me from sharing on IG because I couldn’t chose between all the things, to what to eat for breakfast, to what to paint, to what email to reply first, to what size a new print should be (out of only three choices I have!?). I’m finding it hard to put effort into my practice, into the things I’m passionate about, because it’s all to much. 〰 Why? Well other than grief for Dad... there’s this thing called ECOLOGICAL GREIF. This is “the mourning that takes place when we lose part of the natural world” I saw an article shared from @theconversationdotcom. Link in my bio if you want to read it. It will explain much better than me. And if anyone has any tips to get my drive back to do something about it... please share! That’s all for now. ▫️Thank you for the article find @alicialloyd what @so__manly are doing make me feel a little better. #ecologicalgrief
