Hopefully this doesn't spoil anything for anyone, but since he's back in AAI2, I'd assume he did.  He needs new contracts after "completing" an old one, after all.

No, not really.

He might be a boring, perfect pretty boy, but he's missing a couple big Sue traits.  One, not everyone inexplicably loves him.  In fact, Ema can't stand him and Apollo finds him more grating than anything.  His "perfect" status gets on peoples' nerves.  Two, the plot never revolves around him.  In fact, one of my biggest complaints about him is how unimportant he is.  Klavier's just kind of there.

That's about what I've come up with.  The biggest problem is that it's hard finding gifs without text in the way.  The animations are so slick in this game, stills would be a crime.

This is awesome, but I wish I had time to take an extra day off.  So letters to the DLC characters will be open after I beat it.  I work that day, so possibly not then, but I'll give the heads up of course.

And yes, it's expensive for what you're getting, but this is Capcom.  Regarding DLC they're the EA of Japan.

The voice acting was high school drama class bad.  It's even worse knowing that some of the cast was actual name talent.  I guess they either didn't try or got no direction.

Dear Asher Wright,

I like how Widget goes completely black.  It really shows how she just locks up.  Although I like her Case 1 breakdown the most.  It shows just how not-Mary Sue she is because she can't handle a trial alone.  In fact, without support from Phoenix or Apollo she loses all confidence and completely freezes up.  She's young and talented, and even has a trial under her belt by this point, but she's still a total rookie, and this shows it plain as day.

Now what's this about four bad endings?  I know there's failing to absolve Simon which gives the worst ending ever, failing to clear Athena during Aura's trial which results in her being handed over to Aura, and failure to identify the phantom which results in perma-dark age.

Regardless, I do indeed accept bad ending letters.

That was exactly my thought.  I remember saying aloud to myself, "Did they just give Apollo his own Larry?"

Forget Larry piloting a rocket, this is a drugged up, astrophobic Larry piloting a rocket.

I don't remember thinking so, but I suppose they have a similar style.  Both of them try to be as refined as possible, even if they are both Samurai nerds.

The phantom was a huge letdown for me, honestly.  I think I would have liked him a lot more if he actually was Fulbright, so we were betrayed instead of just misled.  It could have also worked if he had killed Fulbright some time after we first met him so the wounds were fresh too.  Instead we got a faceless entity that we couldn't hate because we didn't know who to hate.

The phantom needed to be something huge to cap off the eclectic mishmash of everything else going on during case five.  Our focus was yanked every which was with Apollo's personal quest, Athena's murder charges, Aura's robot uprising and Trucy's hostage situation, and Simon's impending execution.  Keeping the time frame short kept the fever pitch going, but all that coming from some nobody just trying to sabotage our space program didn't give me the satisfaction of nailing Dahlia or clearing Phoenix's name.  There was no personal stake in it for him.

Another gripe of mine was how Apollo never really got vengeance for Clay.  He just shrugged off the coat (as well as the bandages that should have been covering wounds...) and that was the end of it.  His best friend was just murdered and he has a personal stake in this.  Given Apollo's ability to hold a grudge, I'd like to have seen him really tear into the phantom.  That would have given us as the player more reason to care about this faceless guy too.  I'd at least liked to have had him send the coat up in the HAT-3 rocket with Sol in the ending.

Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the case a great deal, as well as the returning characters, but Bridge to the Turnabout still wears the "Best Finale" crown.  DD was fantastic and I don't want anyone to think I thought otherwise.  It's just a lot easier to find complaints than pick out praises.
