I don't how how oddly specific these might be but

Double Dee saved up his allowance to buy Eddy a new Duster for Christmas/His Birthday after Fistful of Ed because he remembered Eddy saying that he owed him a jacket. It took him a couple of years worth of saving. (psst psst it's the duster Eddy wears in my older designs~)

On that same note, Edd's long-term memory is scary-good, like he remembers little things people said offhand years ago. That makes him exceptionally good at gift giving.

Ed actually has a frighteningly good memory when it comes to patterns. He's not good at math by any means, but he could probably memorize every single produce code within a month of working at a grocery store.

Eddy is really good at bullshitting. He once completely bullshit his way through a very important research paper, made up the sources and everything, and not only did he pass, but much to Edd's bewilderment he got a score of 110.

His favorite candy is salted licorice.

Ed developed a peanut allergy when he was about 5, and developed the rest through middle school. The celiacs disease he only developed while he was in high school.

He's written two operating systems(Heli, for his desktop, and Sabazi of his tablet) from scratch that are not Encom products but something he's done in his free time because he disagreed with what the board wanted the Encom OS to be like.

His comfort food is enmoladas because his childhood best friend's mother used to make them whenever he was over. He's figured out how to make the mole sauce gluten and nut free, but it is an intensive process to make that he rarely has the energy for.

He has a very low tolerance for spice but that rarely stops him from ordering spicy food if he thinks it will taste good.

Can make a disturbingly accurate pigeon call. He will coo at the feral pigeons in the Encom parking lot or elsewhere.

He only really developed chronic fatigue his last year of college. There were a few years, when he was just starting at Encom where it was really bad, but now he has it somewhat managed.

He is distantly related to the Chicago crime boss, John Dillinger.

Ed and his father are estranged from Ed's grandparents and the rest of the Dillingers in England, though they did spend a year right before Ed started high school in England while his father tried to reconnect with Ed's grandmother and get back on the will before she died. The attempt was ultimately unsuccessful.

Ed spent a lot of the time at the public library as a kid because his father worked late a lot. His best friend's mother worked at the library, and so they would both hang out there a lot, and they would often leave coded messages hidden around the library for each other to find.

your confidence in yourself seems fairly weak. it's easy enough for your friends and peers to ask if you're okay, but what's the point? you're just going to say you're doing fine, you're doing alright, you don't need anything at all. your selfless pursuit of what's important to you has stripped you dry, rinsed you clean like pork bones for soup. there's only so much to keep running from and only so much to hold back until you explode. it's okay to not be okay!

...thoughts for a verse where Ed is still under his father's control.

In this situation, Ed would be a lot more adverse to physical touch because his father would weaponize forms of touch that were meant to be affectionate. Hugs are a show for when they're in public, or a means to restrain him, a pat on the shoulder or back is a sign that he'd fucked up big time and he'll have to face the consequences when they get home. A hand through his hair is a warning, and if he doesn't stop, he might get his hair pulled at. A hand to his face, to make him look means he's going to get yelled at.

The only place his father won't touch him is his hands, because Edward Dillinger Senior needs his son to be able to shake hands with other business partners without flinching.

Ed would probably still get uncomfortable if anyone held his hand for longer than five seconds, though.
