I don’t recall saying that was an issue. I fully expect them to be part of the season. But it is Yasmina’s season and not “Robbe and Sander Season 2,” that’s all. I hope the hate crime is addressed.Throughout S3, people asked daily where Sander was (and why he wasn’t in every single clip) when the season was about Robbe and his experiences, some of which weren’t Sander-focused. I don’t want to see the same thing during Yasmina’s season and, as a Muslim woman who sees herself in the upcoming season, I’m allowed to have hopes and wishes. Fandom-related or not. :)

that last clip was just not believable for me. it felt too over the top. the hearing aids werent that noticeable and everyone reacted so weirdly. i don't know i didn't like it, it felt like it was dramatized for nothing

you’re entitled to your opinion!!i personally felt like there are layers to this1. this is arthur’s point of viewi forgot about this when i was talking about the teacher, but the reason she came off as so harsh is because this is arthur’s point of view on what’s happening to him ( @peoniesandsmiles eloquently reminded me). for him, bumping into his friends after all this was mortifying. having the chance to tell them on his own was mortifying. having it happen at school in the middle of a discussion with his girlfriend was also mortifying for him, so it all comes off that way.2. we have to remember this show is about battling internal shameso even if we don’t think it’s a big deal, arthur is going through a transition without one of the five senses that he grew up with. for him, it is a loss (i am careful on wording because many people in the d/Deaf/HoH community don’t view hearing impairment as negative, so i’m not trying to phrase it that way), because it’s something he has no control over. telling his friends was something he had control overso at the end of the day, it was a dramatic moment for arthur, which makes it come off as extra dramatic to us. i feel for him. accepting something internal is really difficult, especially when you think it could have been different/prevented. he’s having a “why me?” moment.
