Take What You Want- Eden Ants 2007
As far as I know, this is the final album by Eden Ants and any digital promo track were victims of the great Myspace server fiasco. It's a strong sendoff and I'm so glad that I finally got to hear it this year. What's rather depressing is how relevant both Big Bank$ and Preservatives are. Still, it closes on a stubbornly hopeful note (and one that I honestly need r/n).

The second of the Eden Ants CDs and the only time I've seen anything of theirs on Ebay. It has a different feel from the heavier synth of the original album but it makes sense as they mostly did live shows.

These’re promo tracks that were available from the official website circa 2001-2009. It’s incomplete as a few later ones were uploaded to MySpace and were lost in the great database transfer fiasco. Cool!
Losing.Touch.EP - Eden Ants 2002
Back in the early 2000′s there once was a Canadian indie band that a certain Overlord really, really liked. Many of their tracks were officially available for download on their own website, but not all of them. Due to existing at an awkward time, the audio files are a nightmare to get ahold of digitally and the three CD albums that were produced are not exactly common.
So, it’s my birthday this month, and what better way to celebrate than uploading tracks from a 20 year old CD that’s the musical equivalent of abandonware? This stuff is why physical media is important.
