Thank you so, so much for this! People have been telling me for the past few months about how it’s going to be an amazing etc but it helps me so much more to hear it from someone else who’s actually experienced it. I am feeling a little more excited now that it’s almost here (I’m leaving in two hours) though I’m obviously still super nervous. I’ll probably make a post on how it goes later on :) Thanks again!x
I was born and lived in London for a while and even I get the excitement for the place. It's just so full of life, culture and history. I hope to move back one day. well, I hope you have a good time, make sure you just take it all in. Man, I love that city so much!

Nah, I like the rambles. I do it enough myself! I understand what you mean though, the messed up ones have seriously interesting backgrounds and history. I'm a post-medievalist so I don't cover Tudors much, but I get the interest :) Come to England, see the awesome!
I'm super excited! I've been to London twice before, once when I was 10, I think, and then the summer after my senior year of high school, but not for an extended period of time. Since I understood the concept of studying abroad, I've wanted to in London, so this is kind of a childhood dream of mine!

Publishing? That's pretty epic. I know what you mean though, I'm always like that, I have to know about a place and be able to tell people about it. Can't help myself, I'm just like that. I'm sure you'll learn a lot, there's so much history you're bound to pick up a bit of it. Are the Tudors your favourite part of history then?
Yeah, I've got a little bit of the Hermione in me - I want to know everything and tell everyone about it! And yeah, definitely. Everyone is so magnificently fucked up and weird and no one is really good or bad, you know? Like, when I was young, I was OBSESSED with Elizabeth I because of those royal diary books that were kind of a spin off of the Dear America books. And it totally presented her as, you know, the Virgin Queen who did not care about what religion you were or what your circumstances were. Which is totally not true at all. She almost definitely wasn't a virgin, was accepting of other religions because it wasn't worth the fight basically, was a dick to Mary even though obviously Mary wasn't great herself. I just -ugh- LOVE fucked up people who try to do good and how even when you try to do good, it can come out horribly wrong (see: Mary). Soooo that was probably slightly more information than you expected =]
