oh forgot to mention. i know i didn't tell anybody (not on purpose i just kinda forgot to) but i bought contacts when i was in london. they're blind-eye contacts, but the thing is they're made of white mesh. they're actually called white mesh, haha. but anyway.
i tried them on for the first time today because i wanted my sister to help cause she wears prescription contacts and she had a couple hours before band so. and it took me about 15 minutes to get them in but i think i'm getting the hang of it. i got more frustrated trying to get them out than in lol. but yeah.
it was actually not that hard to see out of them. i was expecting them to really look shitty or for me not to be able to see anything at all. i can read stuff up to about 5-10 feet away at about 20-30 point font, which is nice. i can see outlines and details of stuff really clearly, but the whole of my vision is kind of weird. it's like fuzzy and dreamlike. but it's cool. i was very pleased with them; i only got them for about 10 quid. the brand is edit, if anyone's interested.
i put on toph just to see how mom and sarah thought it looked. they both liked it a lot, especially mom, which made me feel really good inside, aw. sarah was like 'i really gotta do makeup for you when you wear that because now people will actually look at your face' and i was like 'aw man whatever' lol.
anyway yeah this ended up a lot longer than i thought it would be. i'm going to upload a picture or two that mom took.
god dammit my freaking pixel art 9th doctor and rarity keep falling off my whiteboard. i think i need to glue the magnets on.
