Looking at the pictures from the Europe shows of Editors, I can’t help but think there is not as much effort put in to the UK shows any more :(
We didn’t get confetti or fire this time around (plus the sound cut out, which I know was out of their control but didn’t help)....can’t say I blame them though. Their German and Dutch fans show them so much more love than they get over here....
Don’t get me wrong...I am happy for them that they do so well over there and wish them all the success they get/deserve and more but I can’t deny it hurts my feels a little though. The fact that I can’t experience the epic show I know they can put on in first person. Yes, I know I could travel to Europe and go but I am not a teenager anymore, so I can’t drop everything and make their gigs my priority like I used to! I have responsibilities of running my own business which is hard to pause. I can just about take a night off to go to the London shows without worrying. I would’ve loved to have gone to this 3 day stint in Amsterdam right now! Oh well, hopefully one day I have a business trip abroad when they have a show so I can go and make some new memories. Maybe I should plan business trips around the next tour ***lightbulb ding***
