So, the Vancouver Public Library is AMAZING. There is a nice Children area and those bathrooms signs are from that department. There is a musical instrument lending library and an immigrant information center, plus recording booths for audio and video, which I didn’t take pictures of, since there were people taking full advantage of them and I wanted to give them their privacy. The bottom two pictures show a group of dancers rehearsing for a Sunday performance. That’s the interior wall of the library, btw. The way it’s designed, there is a gallery of shops just inside the library, but not in the actual library space. The other picture shows a woman watching over a gallery of pictures that’s on display downstairs. If you’re ever in Vancouver, I highly recommend stopping by the library and looking around.

I spent hours at Mt. Rainier National Park hoping and waiting for the skies to clear up and I ended up getting the best view next to a little country chapel on my way back to Seattle.

I unintentionally went on a four-hour hike, but the views were worth it.

Last real meal in Seattle: broiled cod, Japanese pickles, sea eel, fatty tuna, sockeye salmon, freshwater eel, and albacore tuna.

The views on the bridge were beautiful, but I’m not going to lie; it took a lot of willpower to not curl up and cry while crossing the bridge. I think the fear of being stuck there forever was also great at motivating me to move. However, it was a lot easier on the way back, since there weren’t as many people stopping to take pictures on the bridge.
