Edukasyon.PH: fighting the good fight
There have been several changes in our education system the past couple of years; and I feel that the all-time question of what career path to pursue remains to be one of the pertinent questions students often ask themselves. With tracks and specializations happening at senior high, I find that it now makes commitment to a certain field more real and daunting for students, knowing that there are still 4 years of college that may come after.
I admit that there’s a lot of pressure when thinking about courses and colleges, and I’m happy that initiatives such as Edukasyon.PH are now in the country to serve as a resource for the youth to learn more about the different career paths and courses available to them, and even more so scholarships that students may choose to apply for. The convenience of it adds comfort to stresses involved in the career discernment process.
While avenues for school and career advice have always been available in the form of loved ones and guidance counselors, it’s always good to have an easily accessible go-to place where you can gather more insight and information on what the Philippine education system has in store for you. It’s a great starting point when discerning what tracks and courses sit well with your interests and capacities. The website also has a wide set of information that students can discuss with parents and mentors, and to browse through at their leisure.
Informed choices are vital to big steps like starting a career path. I admire the commitment the Edukasyon.PH team has in making sure our youth are aware of the best opportunities available to them. 😊
