An original (not a copy or reproduction) print taken from a circa 1883 copy of ‘Familiar Wild Flowers’. The print was originally produced in a weekly 12 page booklet format.

The print was produced by a method called 'chromolithography’. This was the most successful method of colour printing developed in the 19th century and mostly relied on using several woodblocks with the colours.
