Cymmi the Cat
This family is so mean sometimes.
To be clear this was EDWIN wanting to bully somebody. I figure Ash's bad mood is getting to him, and as an Over-Emotional sim he lashed out.
I did the Kenton great-grandchildren too - I'm surprised how tall most of them are! I randomize all heights and bodyshapes (even if I don't implement bodyshapes in my game) but somehow they're all pretty close?
Katinka is the teensiest, while Gareth is the tallest.
(I color coded them by sibling groups if you're curious.)
I’m going to do an official “portrait” for the end of their round, but I wanted one of them as a family while Edwin was little. Cynra was already sent to the apprentice cloister which is why she’s not present.
At least he likes Cymmi?
Edwin grew up pretty much immediately! He’s got the Kenton mouth for sure but otherwise he’s got a lot of Edward’s features.
He’s a Snob, Frugal, and rolled Over-Emotional for his third trait.
Gee, my favorite.
Given the state of his marriage, and his daughter’s mistrust of him, Edward spends most of his time at home with his youngest child and heir, son Edwin. It is difficult to know the wife he loves (and resents, and is so angry with, still still adores...) has so effectively poisoned one of their children against him.
In the early years after the rebellion he had been so busy establishing his new dukedom, making a name for himself in court while also ensuring his wife and her mother stayed safely squirreled away... he hadn’t thought of the consequences. Of the hours, days, and years little Cynra spent with Ava and Sunngifu, being told of his craven behavior, his selfishness, the way he’d deprived them of a crown.
Now that she is older, Cynra has perhaps begun doubting her mother, but she’ll always be a Kenton sympathizer deep down, there’s no helping it now. But it will be different with Edwin.
