This is totally random, but I'd appreciate some opinions

Alrighty, so I might be going to WonderCon in April with my cousin. Since it's my first con ever, I do wanna dress up. But... I don't wanna go full out crazy coz 1) it is my first time and 2) I'm actually going to help out my cousin with his blog Geek Say What (I'll be helping with video recording and photography)

So, surprise surprise, I decided to cosplay as Clara (I already have the hair... why not, right? hahaha)

So, I decided that one of my fave outfits from series 8 was from the episode Flatline (my favorite episode from the series).

(Also, all the other dresses that she wore are no longer available, so this was kinda my last resort anyway... I REALLY wanted the dress she wore in Kill The Moon but it's goddamn UNAVAILABLE ugh)

I found this jacket, which is super cute and I would TOTALLY wear it again. It looks SO SIMILAR to the actual jacket (which costs $300 btw... so buying the actual jacket is a definite NO haha). It's on the Nordstrom Rack, which... for those of you who know how frickin expensive Nordstrom is, this is literally a blessing. Nordstrom Rack is like... the Marshalls or TJ Maxx of Nordstroms. It's all their discounted clothes (that I guess are out of season and whatnot).

But $50 (originally $130)? For something that looks similar to a $300 jacket? How much of a STEAL is that???

Also... it's just so cute. Edgy and casual and just so nice. I'd wear it all the time tbh. (which reminds me... I need a leather jacket... it's on my list of things I need in my wardrobe coz I don't have one... but I digress haha)

I already have a flannel that could work.

I don't see a point in going out and buying another flannel for $20 from H&M when I already have one that's very similar. Idk... if I see a cheap one show up at the store I work at, then maybe I'll get it (coz we used to have one that was almost EXACTLY like the one Clara wore... and idk why I didn't buy it then... I regret it so much now hahaha)

Black jeans... I need to buy a pair anyway coz my black pants have a hole (that is slowly getting bigger) on my right butt cheek... and those are the only black pants I have so... Black jeans are already a necessity for me to buy haha

I can buy a sonic anytime at Hot Topic, so that's the least of my worries.

Shoes... I'm still trying to figure it out. The exact shoes she's wearing is around $200... and to be quite honest, I'm not really into those type of shoes anyway so I probably wouldn't wear it as often, even if I find a similar one that's cheaper (the sneaker/wedge styled shoes... it's not really my style). So I'm considering just black, thick-heeled, ankle booties. Like maybe these: (x) (x) I actually have a similar one in a dark green/brown, and my friend has it in a black, so I could borrow her black ones (x) (x) and so on. I'll go to all the cheaper and discount stores first before I buy any shoes online (also, because I feel more comfortable trying things on before buying them)

And then finally, in terms of a black bag to wear with it all... this will depend. 1) How much I'm spending already, 2) If maybe I can borrow a similar bag from someone (coz, I mean, I could use this bag to carry all my crap walking around WonderCon anyway so), or 3) If I or my mom have something similar already. But this is the least of my priorities. Coz I don't need any more purses, so I doubt I'd be buying one. If no one has one I can borrow, then I'll just bring a bag with me that I already have. No big deal.

I can't buy anything until next month, coz I've set up a spending budget for myself coz I've been spending WAY to much money lately. (And it's over a period of time, which doesn't seem like much until it all adds up). I already spent $60 treating myself to a bra and some bralettes from Aerie (a Valentine's gift to myself hahaha... hey don't judge, everything was on sale and I had a coupon, alright?), and I bought those booties I mentioned earlier that were like... $22 I think. And then that skirt from Express that I posted pictures of last week for $25. So I'm over my budget already haha.

But yea... that's my plan (:

Does anyone maybe have any thoughts or suggestions? I'd really appreciate anything :DD

Well, it's more of a vomit blog... where all my other interests not just Sherlock or Doctor Who related will go.

So, other shows, actors, theater, random posts, etc. It's just me regurgitating all my likes and such. My Sherlock blog is still my main blog.

Like honestly I made this blog a little over a year ago, and I never imagined to meet so many amazing people... to make so many great friends... and to have so much lovely support. Not to mention 2,000 OF YOU LOVELY PEOPLE??? LIKE WHAT???
