It’s been a while. We’re still kind of taking things easy. Toriel has been doing well and I think that the stress she’s had with her for most everything that’s happened recently has been leaving. Frisk makes breakfast and has even been improving their skill. I can sense a person that I’m sure Frisk has been talking about. Chara? It’s like I see their image for a few seconds, but then nothing... I can’t hear anything and other times, I don’t see them for days on end. The way I see Frisk talking to an area of the house though, I know their there. Sans and Papyrus have been somewhat busy so we haven’t had the chance to come over there or vice versa. Maybe things will change?
((sorry I haven’t been on this for a while, yesterday I was kind of busy and recently, I haven’t felt any motivation or I guess edge to do things, but at the same time I don’t want to not do anything. I’ve also been kind of tired, so there’s that.)
T: Now... Please look out for one another! You for them and they for you! (not just flowey and Asgore, but she means Chara as well) Stay vigilant and please call me when you get the the hotel and when you arrive to the pavillion! Oh! Remember to eat good meals and no junk food! Make sure you see the assignments and activities I made for you! Please rely on your instincts when interacting with anyone you meet! And please... Please don’t hesitate to call me if anything happens!
This was something new... It was another trip and ambassador job, but now Frisk had Chara and Flowey. Asgore was there, but he hadn’t been himself.
((It’s not too long this time))
He had heard about Chara from Toriel, and he thought to himself, ‘And just after she seemed to get a little better about Asriel...’ He never stopped caring for Toriel. Even though he had moved on and he was doing well for himself, he couldn’t stop thinking about how she was doing. He was always a caring monster and always worried about his ‘subjects,’ but Toriel, though not anymore, was his wife. She was special to him no matter what relation they had.
When he heard Toriel tell him over the phone, he could definitely hear the distress in her voice. She was devastated. First both of their son, and now their other child? He heard about Frisk’s runs and how they had the help of their children, mainly Chara, but also that with their help, Frisk had made some terrible choices. He sided with Toriel that their child couldn’t have been doing this on purpose. That there had to be another force or something. Then, when he had heard that Chara had returned, only to Frisk’s vision, he had also been told that Chara was always with Frisk, even after the barrier was destroyed. They couldn't go too far without Frisk so that meant Chara was with them when they went to their other Ambassador trip. His memories of the previous engagement of their quest for land played again in his mind wondering what Chara would have said. They weren’t always involved in political things when it came to living with the Dreemurrs. They did show interest a few times, though more near the time of their death.
Asgore sighed as he came back to the present and watched Frisk and Toriel embrace one last time before they had to leave. Now that Frisk could see Chara, what did this mean? Could or ‘should’ he even try to ask how Chara or even Frisk for that matter really felt about him? Frisk had been acting kind to him for most of the time on the surface, but something deep down felt a shame for not only trying to kill them in the past, but the other children as well. Even though he had to, to remain a somewhat peaceful species, it wasn’t right. He knew it wasn’t, but it would have been better than coming to the surface himself and killing people to have enough souls to break the barrier. He might even still be really powerful and people would only be frightened of him. Even to the point of attacking him like they did with his son.
Now that everything had worked out and they all were sitting in the plane, their new friend had alerted them of taking off and in a mater of minutes they did.
Asgore looked back and saw Frisk talking with Flowey and to something that they couldn’t see. They knew it to be Chara and his soul ached. Though he was happy how everything turned out, he still missed the past. Chara turned and looked at their father. At least someone they thought of for the most part. They gave a sigh and looked out the window. “Is something the matter, Chara?” Chara shook their head and told them how they could see Toriel and that she was waving. Frisk smiled and waved, even though it was probably a long shot that she would be able to see.
Today is Flowey’s birthday! Mom, Chara, Egbert and I will be going to get a cake and celebrate.
…I don’t know if everyone will be as happy about it as you. Not trying to ruin the mood, but it’s not only my bro- uh… Flowey’s ‘birthday’ but knowing who he is now, I don’t think everyone that’s coming will find it as exciting as you knowing it’s also a reminder that he’s dead
Well you maybe right, but… We can’t let the past emotions of what happened keep holding us from finding happiness, right? I know the Asriel of who you, mom, and dad know isn’t here, but I can’t help but feel Asriel is still in Flowey!
Frisk… I know that you might think otherwise, but he’s gone! No matter what Alphys’s machines say, nothing will bring him back. And whoever might see this, don’t do anything to make it possible either… Mom might not be having the best time today because of the occasion. Even if you try against me, I will do everything in my power to not make it happen!
Frisk and the others haven’t returned to normal yet. I wonder what the reason is that they're like this? They don’t really seem to mind it though, but they also look tired out. I don’t blame Frisk, but because of this, Sans and Papyrus decided to leave. We might see them tomorrow for a nice family thing! Toriel and Sans are still working on what to do next. It’s mainly Sans that started this, and assured Toriel that she didn’t need to worry about anything. Oh! When Frisk showed us what they could do because they were a monster, Toriel’s face lit up. Actually, in a split second, she seemed a little distracted, but then returned to being happy. I don’t know why, but I’m sure they are really proud of Frisk! I know I am!
What’s going on? There was a moment of smoke and the next thing I knew, I was - I was a monster?! I mean I’m actually kind of happy, but I also feel conflicted...
This-... Mom needs to see this!
((Thank you for this M!A @marzipanrose!
I like the whole boss monster type of Frisk, but I also thought there could be so much done with this concept. Like in this one comic where they became a skeleton! So with this, it’s near the field of boss monster, but not as powerful. Kinda of like that phase less than a God, but more than a man? idk))
I have the perfect outfit for my trip! I hope I’ll get some respect from the leaders of the other countries. I just need to speak and interact for the signing an then, just be present, but maybe with my pick, I’ll do more! Chara’s agreed to help in telling me if the leaders lie to us. Now all we have to do is wait for the flight. Since the last trip, Dad and mom suggested that we have a private plane service. Luckily someone offered their services. With several meetings, Dad and the person became friends. The person, who I’ll keep private, even offered a low price for the flight! The thing is, is that we might leave tomorrow or the day after, because the flyer might have a gig that he agreed to a few months ago, but it won’t take more than 18 hours.
((I kind of changed the technique for this, but here are the narrative pieces! Toriel drives and spends the night at Asgore’s to be with Flowey. Asgore still does the Santa bit, and leaves later in the night to deliver the presents))
