Kari giggled and adjusted her costume a bit. "Yeh I'm sure! No one'll know the difference! You have a mask on and a cool jacket and all that! Everyone will think you just have a super awesome costume on!" She said and tugged onto Berlzemon's cloths. "Now let's hurry or we'll be late!"
"Yer tellin' me, sister." the purple imp said as he lounged on a powerline above Tanya's head. "Adults don't know jack shit about anythin' except how to make up rules that mean less work for them and less fun for anyone else. You and yer brother are better off on yer own, like ya said!"

It was a cool autumn morning. Sumer break had just ended, much to the children's sadness. Early that moring the children got up and ready for school. They had their breakfast, grabbed their bags and rushed off to school. Young Kari was no exeption. The ten year old just got accepted to her first year of public school and was very nervous. She spent all night getting ready and needed to be forced to stop. "Ok. Lunch, check. Bag, check. Pencils, ch-- Where are my pencils?! I put them right here! I swear I-- Oh, there they are." Kari chuckled nervously. It was obvious she was nervous and on edge. Rightfully so. Not only was it her first day ever in public school, but it was also a risky act. The girl's odd apperance could bring unwanted attention from students and adults. That could lead to her capture by the ones who created her. That she did not want. "Ok, how do I look?" Kari asked her closest friend, Beelzemon, who was near by. She turned to face him. The young girl wore the boy's uniform, her scarf, a cap to hide her hair, and silver rimmed goggles with tinted lenses to hide her eyes. She could not find sunglasses. She gulped, hoping it was alright. Starter for @eggplant-mxn

Kari coughed up a bit of blood and helped Beelzemon around the lab. She looked at her friend and gave a slight chuckle. "They made you human somehow. How does it feel? I don'tthink you'll have abilities because you're human so I'll do the fighting if I have to." She asked, looking around while hiding. The child pointed at the door. "That's our target." She gulped.

Kari stuck out her tongue and pouted. “No.” She huffed, her nose stuffy. The bottle specifically said “Grape flavored” with some childish writing to show it was for kids. Though she wasn’t dumb. Kari knew this wasn’t a one time thing and she knew what this purple liquid tasted like. “It’s super gross an’ I dun’t like the flavor! It dusn’t taste like grapes at all!” The young half-human coughed wildly. “... Ugh... My head hurts.” She groaned.

Kari shivered rapidly and clung to Impmon. "I-I DU-UN-NNO!" She squeaked, her eyes wide. Whatever was at the end of the path began to approach the moment it spotted the two. It looked rather threatening because it was cloaked in shadows. Kari gulped.
"WH-WHA-AT DO WE D-D-DO?!" She stammered. There wasn't exactly a place to run to right now since they were in the middle of no-where for the most part. That was actually the whole reason they were out here, to find a good place to sleep for now.

Kari grumbled, struggling to reach the handle of the shower head. “I ALMOST GOT IT BEEZEE! A-ALMOST!” She squeaked, the tips of her fingers just barely grazing the shower head. “NNGH!” This child was stubborn through and through. However, after a few more minutes she gave in. “... P-please help me.” She squeaked softly, looking down in defeat.

Kari sniffled. “W-well... You’ll just one day get really mad at me then leave me on the side of the rode and never turn back... Maybe make some new, probably better friends.” The girl hugged herself. “I-I mean, I’m not exactly the best.. THING to have as a friend. A stupid science experiment that doesn’t know what IT is other than the fact that IT is a monster! What kinda friend am I?! Always getting us into trouble a-and dangerous situations.” The child began crying softly.
