Dream was curled on the dungeon floor like he’d folded in on himself, golden hair gone dull with grime, sheep ears pressed flat to his skull as if he could make himself smaller by force of will. The chains around his wrists looked too big on him now. Too heavy.

“Dream!” Technoblade darkened with fury, and he rushed to his prisoner's side. Gently, he lifted Dream, cradling the weakened man to his chest. His jaw clenched with fury, but he managed to bite out the words. "Dream, who did this to you?"

OR:

When his kingdom's knights finally manage to capture Dream - the notorious thief and Techno's childhood best friend - Techno makes a plan: avoid the dungeon, avoid the inevitable execution, avoid thinking about it at all.

After Jude kills him in an extremely humiliating trap, Sharpness swears he will never talk to the rabbit again. Unfortunately for him, Judelow has a remarkable talent for getting himself into life-or-death situations.

And Sharpness has a terrible, inconvenient habit of always coming when Judelow calls.

His whole person, it seemed. Sharpness bristled, his feathers fluffing in irritation despite the fresh wave of pain it caused. “Fix me?” he squawked back, deeply offended. He thought he was perfectly fine the way he was, thank you very much. “Ugh- not like that-” Jude began, his face flushing even deeper as he tripped over his words. Anxiously, he pulled on one of his long rabbit ears. “It’s just… I talked to Falcuno and, um, I noticed your wings were bothering you and… and I-thought-I-could-help-you-groom-them.” Sharpness's brain buffered as he struggled to keep up with Jude's words. When he finally did, his cheeks exploded with heat, coloring pink to match Jude's. “What?”

OR:

Jude helps Sharpness groom his wings. Takes place pre-betrayal.

As he stared down at the bruises, Jude’s eyes glittered with a dark, breathtaking pleasure. Finally, he spoke, his voice a soft, reverent murmur that sent a chill down Parker’s spine.

“Pretty, right?”
