The Octoling froze; did he just ask permission to kiss her? To be frank, Tetra had no way of knowing how to react. Here, an Inkling, the very bane of every Octarian’s existence, was asking to kiss her.She eventually came to, and took one step back.

“W-what the hell is wrong with you!! Of course y-you can’t kiss me! Gross!”

Taking another step back with her face scrunched up in fear and confusion, she didn’t notice the red blush creeping across her cheeks.

"... W... was this place taken already...?"

The pale cyan Inkling was a blumbering newbie to most things - because of that, they were bound to make mistakes. But holy starfish did they get things pretty mixed up this time.

Zanburi, despite wanting to maximize their arsenal and getting used to using turf war weaponry, was a nervous kid. As excited as they were to get their hands on a new weapon (something called a Custom Splattershot Jr.), any instructions as to how it was used had flown over their head. Feeling too timid to ask Sheldon to repeat what he said, the Inkling opted for practicing the weapon instead.

While the weapons shop had a number of practice rooms for its customers, Zanburi had unintentionally stumbled into an occupied room. Unable to say anything else beyond the statement they blurted, the Inkling's face flushed with embarrassment and they froze in place.
