I've always thought Eiko in Makoto's confidant was ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS for requiring rank 5 charm to progress, but. Say for a minute that the labels for each social stat rank are Ren's own description of himself and are possibly inaccurate. Then say that maybe rank 4 charm Joker actually does look unkempt to most people. And rank 2 charm was necessary for the flower shop job because he just looked completely unacceptable to the manager otherwise, and he barely got hired for the other two jobs. This is mostly just amusing me because like Joker's usually seen as pretty physically attractive by the fandom, handsome and all that, but what if that was how he views himself and he really just...stank like coffee and looked like he'd never seen a comb most of the game and most of his potential girlfriends went uhhhhh at first meeting and he just slowly won most of them over by genuinely being kind and maybe stealing a few hearts for them In the end, it's probably that Eiko is bonkers and rank 4 Joker looked just fine, but in that case, Makoto, why are you not defending your fake-boyfriend's honor :(
