I woke up at 6:00 AM and left my apartment at 7:30 AM to drive to the school (roughly a 30 minute drive). I got to the school at 8:00 AM (school for the students actually starts at 9:15 AM) and had to sit through an hour long PLC meeting from 8:15 AM - 9:15 AM.
I was then in the classroom for the entire school day (9:15 AM - 4:15 PM) and my mentor teacher had me enter and post grades (both in the handwritten grade book and the online grade book) for basically all assignments from December for all subjects.
Once I got off, I stopped by Walmart (which I pass on the way home) to pick up some office supplies (page protectors, notebook, pens, etc.) and then stopped by the library at my University (also on the way home... thank goodness) and had to make around 250 copies for my mentor teacher (who informed me that she is going to take advantage of all my free prints I get through my University... which is fine... but not when I'm the one making the copies and it takes an hour and a half).
I finally got home around 6:20 PM and quickly changed and drove back to the gym (15 minute drive). Today is day 7 of my RUN 365 but I had to do a fairly easy workout because my exhaustion level is about maxed out. I ran a 5k on the dreadmill and then did 5 miles on the bike followed by planks. I left the gym around 8:00 PM and talked to my mom on the drive back to my apartment. I finally showered around 8:15 PM and put my laundry in the wash and made dinner (which I am currently eating... chicken panini made with 98% fat free chicken, Ezekiel bread, light laughing cow cheese, and guacamole with fruit on the side... I'm sure I will most a picture soon).
Now for the rest of my night... it's currently 9:15 PM.
I still have to cut most of the copies I made in half (they were half sheet assignments so two to a page), finish grading some tests, start preparing some lessons on adding fractions, set up my internship binder, and then hopefully talk to my boyfriend on the phone at some point.
The best part?
I get to wake up at 6:00 AM tomorrow and do it all over again.
And the next day.
And the next day.
And the next 80 days.
Oh, and I work both Saturday and Sunday every weekend. So breaks? Nahhh.
