1/5 of my Grimmchildren, it’s the lovely, Grimmhilda!
Pronounced grihm-hill-dah. Often nicknamed Hilda.
~~
Grimmhilda's Ritual was incomplete. The summoners disappeared with Hilda and eventually the Troupe had to continue their journeys. Her charm wasn't returned so she ended up growing up away from the Troupe. Her summoners made Grimm seem like such a villain and she sort of grew to have feelings of resentment towards Grimm as she feels that he abandoned her.
Grimmhilda’s Moms
Grimmhilda was raised by her summoners/moms named Elaïde (Pronounced eh-la-eed) and Prixille ( Pronounced prihk-seel or prihk-seey-uh, like fille or grenouille in French). Elaïde initiated the Ritual unknowingly before Prixille could even consider the options. As they learned more about the Ritual and the part Hilda would take in it, they got scared and decided to leave with the baby as to not seal her fate. Both of them, being mosquitoes, tried to raise Hilda as such which led to a lot of conflicts. Their daughter’s curiosity, temper, and weird powers were often scary and confusing to them, but they still did their best and loved their little girl with all their hearts.
Elaïde is peppy, impulsive, optimistic, and sensitive to other’s feelings. She helped Hilda with managing her temper and also taught her a bit of ballet. She always wanted a child but due to an accident, she became infertile. She heard that lighting the flame could make any wish come true which is why she did it. She didn’t find the Ritual as terrifying as her wife did and was just finally happy to have a child, albeit a fire-breathing demigod. She wanted Hilda to live a happy and long life, not one that could be brief and where she was destined to die, so she agreed to run away with Prixille. She always calls Grimmhilda “pudding“, even in present day.
Prixille is the opposite of her wife being skeptical, pessimistic, somewhat withdrawn, and a worrywart. She helped Hilda stay confident and also taught her to make jewelry so she wouldn’t be so destructive. When her wife initiated the ritual, she was terrified. She also wanted to have children, but not in something as crazy as the Ritual. She wasn’t attached to Hilda at first, but seeing how Elaïde loved this child, she wanted to give her a chance. It was her idea to flee the Ritual because she didn’t want to lose their child to some “weird cult shit” as she called it. Still she was angry and frustrated with Elaïde for a while and it wasn’t until Hilda called her mama and she realized the “garbage” the child brought her was shiny like the jewelry she made. She vowed to make sure Hilda could live a life where she’d be safe and free from people’s scorn.

About Grimmhilda
Grimmhilda can be a scary and cruel character, but it’s mostly a front. She acts that way to eat people’s fear and just eats negative emotions and nightmares in general. She’s confident, snarky, somewhat impulsive, but often times comes off as cool and collected. Despite that, she has somewhat of a temper, which leads to people fearing her or people getting hurt. She tries really hard to keep her temper in check, but certain things such as endangering/hurting a loved one will immediately put her into angry-feral-kill mode.
Grimmhilda is around 25 years old and is a lesbian. She has somewhat of a disdain for men due to past experiences, but she has exceptions which include her brothers, her dad, and her sole male troupe member. She likes dancing, singing, making jewelry, collecting flames, spending time with her wife and daughter, and teasing/scaring her Troupe members. She dislikes men, bugs endangering her loved ones, being called a monster, and warriors interrupting her peace.
Grimmhilda leads a relatively happy life with her wife, her daughter, and her Troupe, in the kingdom she was born in. She mostly just chills in her tent, but from time to time she travels to go see family, to perform, or to sell her jewelry. In her kingdom, she’s described as “the monster that lives on the hill.” In the past she had a strained relationship with Grimm and she didn’t see her moms for basically a decade, but now she often visits her parents and has a better relationship with them.
Grimmhilda recently got married and had her first child. Her wife is a sassy, lil flea named Mig. Their daughter is a grimm/flea hybrid named Mmilde. The two met through speed-dating and she only noticed Mig after she thought the dates were done. She made Hilda laugh and then they just hit it off from there. Hilda fell for Mig because she made her laugh and didn’t treat her like she was some kind of horrible monster. Mig fell for Hilda because she loved her confidence, she didn’t care that she was tiny, and because she thought her laugh was cute (most people find her laugh scary, chilling, and unnerving). After they got married, Hilda had their egg during their honeymoon. Neither of them knew she was expecting due to infrequent symptoms and no visual signs. They love their little Mmilde all the same.

Grimmhilda’s Troupe and Performance Life
Her Troupe consists of:
Malafine, a violin beetle who is Grimmhilda’s closest friend, a singer, a blacksmith, and a jewelry maker
Théonile, a mole cricket who is a miner and a double bass player.
Carmine, a red dragonfly who is a black smith.
Louvel, a rhinoceros beetle who is a knight and a cook.
Myo, a ghost ant who is just a little orphan girl the Troupe took in.
A ton of Grimmkin.
A single, large Grimmsteed.
She cares a lot for her Troupe and despite her teasing and scaring, she makes sure they’re well taken care of. She always makes sure they have materials they’ll need for their work, enough food, and the works.
Malafine is Hilda’s closest friend, and she often goes to her to get feedback or when she has exciting or interesting news. Malafine has a huge unrequited crush on Hilda. Théonile helps Hilda a lot with both collecting flames and rocks/minerals for smith work. Carmine does purely smith work, but also does a good job at making sure everyone’s doing well physically/mentally/emotionally. She likes being there for people. She can be a little bit of an airhead though.
Louvel is a new member and the only male member. Hilda let him join because he actually made an effort to keep annoying warriors away from her home and also because she thinks he’s a funny little man. He’s always formal and respectful to everyone. Myo, another new member, is just a little orphan girl Hilda caught trying to steal her necklace. She ended up bringing her home and she and the Troupe got attached to her. Hilda also named her.
Performance wise she likes to dance and do fire arts. Her dance style is ballet but like, ballet if it could kill you. Her dances can be sensual at times which is purely for the ladies. The music is classical, usually with a spooky or macabre feel. This is the same when she sings. In general her performances can be described as beautiful and scary. Malafine and Louvel sing for her performances. Théonile plays the double bass and Myo plays the theremin. Carmine manages the lights with the help of the Grimmkin.
