1. You just won $10,000 and you have three days to live, what do you do? 

I go to Europe! London or Paris...Probs Paris.

2. What’s one thing you would change about yourself if you could? 

My ability to overthink and sometimes underthink things. Find a happy medium.

3. Have you ever been in love? 

Do the children in my lives count? Then at least 5 times :)

4. If you woke up tomorrow morning with a superpower what would it be and how would you use it? 

Flight. I'd go everywhere in my spare time. Visit every state and country at least once. Go see my bestie ALL THE TIME!

5. What’s your favorite book and why? 

What Are Friends For? 

Best romance novel ever!

6. What is the one food you could eat every single day for a year? 

Probably a sub lol

7. How did you meet your best friend or significant other? 

We met on tumblr :) SOUL TWIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

8. That one fictional character that really changed your life or your perspective on life in general? 

I don't really know. I have so many favorites... I guess I would have to say Elizabeth Bennett. I say this because no matter how many times I read Pride and Prejudice story or watched the many versions of the film I come away with the same story moral. Upon first glance, its easy to unfairly judge someone. Taking the time to understand and appreciate anothers existence could very well lead you down a happy path or at least a very good lesson learned.

9. You’re going to any concert you chose tonight, who and where?

Michael Buble. I just need to. Have to. One day :)

10. Name three things on your bucket list.

Ride an elephant- DONE IT!

Dress in a few Princess and The Frog costumes

Have a real photoshoot (like for a magazine or something thats published)

2. What’s one thing you would change about yourself if you could? I’d love to be able to dance. I work with a lot of groups who listen to dance and hip-hop music, and my un-coolness shows every time I try to dance. It’s disasterous. 

3. Have you ever been in love?I have. I’d say I’ve been in love a couple of times, maybe a few, and I enjoyed a few long-term relationships. I’m still waiting for it to happen again.

4. If you woke up tomorrow morning with a superpower what would it be and how would you use it? I’ve been asked this before, and I’d want to be able to determine people’s motivations. I’d use it to determine who deserved a second chance—in my classes, in my personal life, in my relationships, and so on.

5. What’s your favorite book and why?  My favorite book is A Problem from Hell: America America and the Age of Genocide by Samantha Power. She’s currently the US Ambassador to the United Nations. I read it in grad school, and it changed my view on diplomacy and foreign policy. It discusses genocide and America’s role in preventing and contributing to them. It’s eye-opening, for sure.

6. What is the one food you could eat every single day for a year?Mashed potatoes (and bread and cereal and pasta and every other carb on the planet)

7. How did you meet your best friend or significant other? I met BFF#1 when I was in undergrad. She was the administrative assistant to Marching Mizzou, and I was a student. I met BFF#2 in grad school when a fellow grad student told me I needed to meet her and introduced us in the grad student offices.

8. That one fictional character that really changed your life or your perspective on life in general?I would say Peeta Mellark, but he actually just supports what I already believe. So…I’ll say Justin from the Rats of NIMH.

9. You’re going to any concert you chose tonight, who and where?  Billy Joel, Madison Square Garden

I like my skin color. It's not pale enough to make me look sick, like the rest of my family. But it's not too dark either. I'd say it's just right.

My eyes are pretty darn great too. I like to admire them while brushing my teeth.
