Lacking in the Questions Department
Icarus sat on a jungle gym awning, kicking his legs back and forth as Moonie quietly cleaned the play area below. Small jingles rang out in the air as the bells on the lunar model's wrists and shoes were disturbed by movement. Icarus hummed, tilting his head and shifting his wings behind him. "Don't you find it strange that no one wants to know why a whole bunch of animatronics are running a library and daycare, Moonie?" "Not particularly," came the reply, the moonbot looking up with a cheerful tinkle of his hat. "They have no need to bother us with questions like that. We don't affect their daily lives." The winged sunbot could understand that. It was just...he was bored. Try as he might to stay busy, everything just seemed so dull and annoying. In the YA and adult section of the library, it was too quiet and dull. He never found himself able to stay still. In the teen section of the library, there were kids grouping together for clubs and homework study groups. He didn't find himself fitting in over there. The only place he was useful was the kiddie section; with its bright colours, small books, and humongous play area just nearby, it was perfect for him to stretch his wings and be the energetic bot he was. However...lately...nothing seemed to interest him. Of course, he still did his job!! But...he wished he could interact with humans that could hold a solid conversation, sometimes. "Do you think Clipse is planning on bringing in another DCA?" Icarus just wanted to break the silence. "Maybe." Oh...he wished the Moon would speak more...
