The CBR team had quite an eventful weekend. We had many beers lined up for our tasting pleasure. Mike and Nicole had several options and I had my haul from my brewventure in Virginia. This #ipa from #solacebrewing called partly cloudy is brewed with #eldoradohops and #citrahops coming in at 7.5% abv. This was a very drinkable ipa with those hazy characteristics and super juicy. This was however not our favorite hazy ipa out there. I think it would rank about mid range. Would love to try more from Solace Brewing Co in the future. With brewing two days in a row I can really hone in on my process. Everything went swimmingly aside from the chiller being too effective during my steeping time (It dropped to 150 within 5 minutes). Hope some bitterness from the Mosaic and El Dorado fell through. I also did a double coffee day - coldbrew with coconut milk and espresso straight up. My efficiency climbed up to 69% perfect with this new method.
