Listening back to Stolen Century, I'm not the only one who thought Lucretia had a crush on Magnus, right? Or at least they were the closest after Lup and Barry.
i love that post that’s like lucretia went to all-girl’s schools her whole life and didn’t have any male friends so when she meets magnus and he’s her age and affectionate towards her she’s like “i think i have a crush on magnus” and lup just instantly goes “no you don’t.”

A sweet distracting story:
Once when I was volunteering at my local zoo, I was presenting about one of our box turtles and asked the group if they knew why they were called box turtles. One kid, who was like 3 and wearing an adorable fedora, said “I think they’re called box turtles, because they’re called box turtles” and he was right.

Lately I've been thinking about how the future was perceived in different decades. Right now when people try to design things to look futuristic and new (mainly thinking technology, housing) they make it all minimalistic and black and white, not a lot of colors and so on. And that's relatively new, I'd say. But it's ever changing and it seems the reason for why the future is generally perceived this way is because we already think (really broadly speaking) that these things look good, look stylish. When we look at whats supposed to be the future as people make it out to be right now, its not really the future, is it? It's more like a better version of the now. I don't know if any of this makes sense to you, it's just some thoughts of mine :)
personally i think we should return to the BEST form of futurism - retrofuturism
