Samus's height is usually listed as 6'3", either in the armor or out. However, that was actually only her height for her Zero Mission. Samus spent the majority of her developing years on Zebes, a planet with extremely high gravity. Once she spent more time in gravity closer to Earth's or lower, Samus's spine decompressed and she ended up with a height of 6'7" out of the armor.

One strange piece of Metroid lore is Solomon Aran. Apparently, Samus has (or had) a brother named Solomon, who also survived the attack on K-2L, but was separated from his sister. It’s not clear what happened to him afterwards.
This is actually a misconception; Solomon was simply Samus’s name before she transitioned while she lived with the Chozo. Because she was separated from widespread galactic civilization for so long, when she joined the military, the Galactic Federation were confused, but ultimately just assumed Samus was Solomon’s sister and that for some reason they never had her listed as a resident of the colony. She never bothered correcting them because it was a convenient way to completely separate herself from her deadname. “Solomon Aran” is still listed as Missing In Action on GF records.
