Electrical Projects Need to be Followed Through
It’s always good to hear about electrical projects in countries that do need more energy and more infrastructures, like Nigeria. Power generation in the country was recently reported to have dropped by as much as 357 Megawatts.
But proposed projects won’t help much if local contractors order and ship electrical equipment from overseas, and never claim them at port.
According to the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), there are some 159 power equipment that were abandoned and stranded at the various seaports of the country.
