Frustrating week experimenting with silver plating. I think my problem may be how I’m polishing back the silver layer and that my Dremel is too harsh. Finally got a decent silver layer electroplated on this baby acorn and polished up by hand instead using a kinder metal polish. There’s a bit of oxidisation to bring out the texture of the acorn. I do like how naturally the piece works as a pendant.
